Youth Be an Adventure

Upon recent events, I have found it most fit to express such emotions through writing. I have recently been able to write more poems than before so would like to share some on this blog as a means of both self-record and of sharing creative works with the world.

So here we are, the first poem I've written so far this year published on this site:

To be young and adventurous--

What shall we say of it?

Shall we find it dangerous?

Or shall we find it fit?

Could we look to it as our lesson in life?

Or is it better staying within the lines?

Since I find with own experience--

the joys of such adventure in youth--

A joy it would be to reflect on moments

Both good and bad, one could use to become a couth.

Mind we conclude that youth is such excitement?

One that knows all lengths and stories--

With thus is how we know our way

to a world so real, so imperfect--

to which we know we belong.
