So I started this job at an amazing Children's museum where every day I come to work, I watch kids nurture their creativity and innovation as they interact with the many exhibits were display. I couldn't help, but grow inspired myself, and felt this burst to nurture my own creative outlet--that being in the form of poetry. And with that, I introduce to you the poem below that is one of the results from this renewed burst:
On string tethered to the zenith of mighty gods' bluff--
A mere mortal emarks on eager voyage
in faith of great ambition;
Brought on by ravenous passion,
and unacquainted with dark stricken trepidation;
yet exposed, the effect of gilded frame of mind.
He bears fallen rock and will of zephyr's cry--
where gift of choices masked unhindered lie.
Draws unto his destiny, his language spoken brief.
As the giant hand returns from slumber
and fate of one retrieved.
Choices made, seem to tread on paved rock.
But fate, unbeknownst, had since in throw haphazard--
been wholly sealed on destined peak once sought.
That by travel end, 'tis at last revealed
that all presumed will
had been all in gods' precious thrill.
