Young Adonis

In giant treads you embark on celestial streak.
Your assumed ego echoed in your chosen trods.
Crags and boulders, ha! In your prevailing favour.
An unanswered call upon Icarus' wings.
you filch and breeze them in passion-filled gadabout.
A journey made not far, follows private high regard.
You embed your pennon on your eminent domain.
You self enthrone in sure prophecy, and boast ever plain--
"Oh the sun sure blesses me, and the stars, they gleam ever bright on my mighty stature."
Light up your spear and draw from your well-deserved vaunt.
There is not a better time than now, young Adonis.
Make the leaves rustle, sizzle at your stroke.
make your mark in sweet melodic hoots.
And flaunt your verdant mosaic.
The world is your oyster.
the doe-eyed mass, your acolyte.
Dear pavo, how your dreams soar wild.
Your only source of being, my dear,
the slightest gawk and awe, your craving sets your core alight.
Your fleece of self sustainment gathers seams of subjection
and swoon.
Prop your sword in its place.
Keep your pride at bay, pray,
falter not your nous.
Oh-crystal eyes, in time, you'll see,
No use in stalking. You have planted your seed.
One's art will always be mirrored.
And soon my dear Dorian, crash you will onto
what was, once upon a time, your own....
--miserable daze once so sweet.
